About me

Dianna McMahon commenced her formal training at Art College where she was introduced to a broad range of artistic medium and techniques. She moved on to follow her dream to travel the world by working for a major airline.

After a very enjoyable period in her working life her family commitments forced her to retire from flying and it was during this time that she took the opportunity to rediscover her passion for painting. Coincidentally, this took her to places such as the Falkland Islands, Chile and South America and wildlife became a particular passion.

Initially, she painted for pleasure and in the following years she built a reputation as an accomplished watercolour artist. Her work attracted considerable interest and numerous commissions followed.

Keen to experiment Dianna experienced the pleasure and variety that was present using acrylics. In particular, this medium lends itself both to traditional work as demonstrated by her wildlife art and contemporary painting.
